Nakajima Saiun (Myrt)

WW2 Axis Aircraft

Museum quality build of the Hasegawa 1/48th scale Nakajima Saiun (Allied codename Myrt). Special Z-flag markings edition.

This model won the Silver Medal at the Rochester IPMS meet in February 2011.

Eduard photoetch parts were added to the cockpit and exterior details.

The interior details took forever but the additional work was well-worth the effort.

Hazy airfix days of youth – time to complete model = half day

Hazy airfix days of today – time to complete model = 2 months

      🙂
